Congrats to the winners of 2009 moot court, Benjamin Holley and Lee Peifer, and the following people who advanced to the elite 8:
Team F (Lanora Pettit and Casey Lee)
Team G (Eimeric Reig and Joel Feil)
Team H (John Moran and Alex Ibrahim)
Team I (Chris Brown and Andrew Howlett)
Team K (Megan Lacy and Christine Mandell)
Team V (Joelle Perry and Clinton Dockery)
Team X (Christopher McCoy and Jin Yan)
Team CC (Fiona McCarthy and Nick Nelson)
Cool - two of these people will have their names up there next to
Ted Kennedy and
that other dude who was also a senator but no one remembers. Though if it were I, I'd trade it for a spot on a invitational team or, in the alternative, a week's worth of lunches at Scott Commons (FMV=130 USD). Any takers? Nothing in the rules says that the interests aren't transferable or substitutions aren't allowed . . .
EDIT: Some random analysis . . . eight of these people are on law review, four were H'10...

Not the most impartial post, but kudos to everyone!
Interesting. I am pretty sure that there were five teams that picked up the problem on Monday. Then, five of the first six to pick it up on Wednesday advanced. I guess the early bird really does get the worm.
FYI-It's Lee Peifer, not Pfeifer.

And 4 were E'10! Those must have been some really smart sections.
yea - that conlaw class must have been intense!
Congrats to all (tho no one cares -- all that matters are the final 2, maybe the final 4).
this list is like a whos who of gunners
Thanks, 7:09 PM! It's nice to know that one's hard work does not go unnoticed.
If by "intense" you mean "taught by a liberal nut," then yes. The class was "intense."
7:25, hahaha! so you were in that class, too?
7:09, they're not all gunners.
Typical conlaw hypo: "So, let's say hypothetically that President Bush just randomly decided to detain all [some ethnic / religious / political minority], as part of the the illegal Iraq war in conjunction with the unconstitutional DOMA and a plot to steal another election - what does the dormant commerce clause have to say about this?"
10:58,
damn, thats funny because its true. i didnt learn about anything else in that class. expect that the kid in the front liked to talk too much
H '10 has a solid 25%
